Charlotte has a great regional farmer's market. Jeffrey, Gabrielle, and I took an outing there last weekend in search of fresh produce.
We came home with spinach. (Which I've been loving in breakfast egg white scrambles with cherry tomatoes and red bell peppers.)
I was so happy to get home with all the fresh goodness and make a chop salad.
We found corn that Jeffrey approved of. (He's got a high corn standard after having thousands of ears of what he believes to the best corn: Jersey Silver Queen.)
And this sweet little handmade doll high chair.
I could sit and watch the flower arrangements be made at the market for hours. Such delight to see the combinations of colors they create. I picked out this white bouquet with a couple purple pops.
Big radishes. Looking for a tasty recipe to add these to.
And my favorite find of the day was this Yah's Best salsa. I've been in search of a really good salsa for some time, but just haven't found one that I really like. This is my new favorite.
